Customer Feedback...

“As you know, too often out of town clients come and go and you never get much feedback from the work you’ve done. Well let me just tell you as I sit here editing the footage from New York, Boston, Washington DC, and San Francisco–I have to say nobody else holds a candle to you! All of the interviews you shot look fantastic! It’s incredible how much nicer the lighting and composition looks." Thanks again!

“I’ve worked with Rick on numerous shoots over the years and can’t say enough about his creative eye, his professionalism and his attitude. Rick was behind the lens for myriad product shoots I produced/directed for clients that included Miele, BISSELL, ConAir and more. Rick is all about one thing: making the shot better. He is always game to try new things, new angles, and has endless patience for the countless little tweaks that make a good shot a great one. Video shoots can be stressful, but Rick keeps things light on set (his sense of humor is infectious and permeates through the entire team). He was an incredible asset on my projects, and rest assured, he will be for yours.”

“Our corporate venture capital group worked with Rick to produce a series of videos that highlighted some of our portfolio companies. Of all of the video producers that I have worked with over the years, working with Rick was one of the more pleasant experiences. He understood what we needed, was flexible and best of all he took care of all the details. The videos were outstanding, so much so that we received accolades from our Japanese and European colleagues. If you need videos or other film projects, go talk to Rick first.”

“I highly recommend Rick. I had the pleasure of hiring him as an independent videographer in 2017. At the time, I was director of BirdNote, a short public radio program broadcast to an adult audience across the United States. With the rise of YouTube, I saw video as a strategy to attract a younger audience. However, I had little knowledge in how to produce a video including what the arc of the story would be, who would be cast in the film, or where we would film the scenes. Then Rick was recommended to me. Once we met and talked about my vision, all of the pieces fell into place. Rick was a terrific partner in the process. He directed the entire project from contributing to the storyboard, coaching the cast, and creating the proper lighting and sound. I would like to note that Rick went above and beyond the call of duty, shooting the video on multiple locations over a very wet and rainy Thanksgiving weekend in Seattle, WA. “Behind the Scenes with BirdNote” was a hit with our radio fan base. And, the film brought in new, younger enthusiasts to BirdNote. We used the video to boost multiple fundraising campaigns over the years. Six years later, the film continues to delight the public with close to 6,000 views on YouTube. Rick is a talented videographer. He is professional, efficient, and always prepared with the proper equipment, props, and a plan of action. He also has a calm, reassuring demeanor, which was very important to me and my team who were unschooled in the world of film production. Without a doubt, I would hire Rick again.”

“Rick is a terrific Director of Photography with a great personality and sense of humor to match. With Rick's contribution, we were able to produce a fantastic looking infomercial that surpassed all expectations through the successful testing phase of the marketing campaign. Rick is a great pleasure to work with and I look forward to working with him again!”

“Rick is a top-notch pro, a production "lifer", and an all-around great guy. I have known Rick for close to 20 years and he was Directing & Shooting long before I came around. He's always been a cool head on set and someone everyone wants to work with again on the next one.”
